I again apologize for my blog having come to a standstill. As things are wrapping up here in Argentina, I find myself extremely busy and unwilling to acknowledge the fact that life as I have known it for the past three months is almost over. Nicki and I have been taking more and more private tango classes, partly because our time is cutting short, but mostly because we’ve been getting so much out of them, and our teacher is soooo much fun. I feel very privileged to know Veronica personally, let alone be taught by her. Her pants are very typical of Argentine women (and some men) right now; they are very high fashion
I’ll be home in less than a week. So I am going to say that this is my last official blog from Argentina. It has been an amazing, unique experience, and I have met and made some great friends during my stay; and someone extra-special too. If any of you ever have the chance to come to Argentina, I highly recommend it. But don’t go to Buenos Aires, well… go to Buenos Aires, of course, but then come to Rosario, or San Nicolas, or Mendoza, or one of the smaller cities that aren’t so touristy. Life is much more peaceful here. You can’t get a coffee to go, in fact it’s very much frowned upon to walk down the street eating or drinking anything. And don’t drink straight from the bottle either; use a cup
Go to a milonga. Go to a park and learn how to drink mate! Give everyone you meet a kiss on the cheek!
Gracias y Un Fuerte Abrazo!

Those pants are disgusting. D: It looks like she crapped her pants O.o
Oh shut up. They are sweet and you know it! Now I’m gonna get you some for Christmas
Ariel, you have learned more about culture than that! That comment should be saved and you should say that to half the guys walking around our streets and colleges with their underwear hanging out! Hah!
O trust me…I do! The Harem pant should be saved for Harems only.
I was just going to say I hope you didn’t buy any of those pants omg.
Oh my, Skylar, would you PLEASE bring me back a pair of those pants???????????? I will even pay you back!
Skylar, your tango teacher is beautiful. Very beautiful. I have forgotten the word you taught me for it. ( I have it written down somewhere).
I agree with most people I don’t like the pant’s.
Get a video of you and your teacher dancing together for your Nana.
Love you
Have a safe trip home
Oh Skylar! I’m so sorry you have to come back. I know just how you feel; it’s hard to leave good friends and family. Maybe there’s a way you can go back sometime. What about Niki? Is she staying or going back home – where is her home anyway?
I’ve heard from Diana who seems overly busy as usual and is in Eugene. She’s always so fun to talk with and she may come down here soon.
Give me a call when you have time so we can get together and chat. 469-4019
